Training in the DTKC Clubhouse - Mandalay, Lurganboy, Donegal Town, F94W9HH (just opposite Abbotts entrance), Donegal, Ireland Tuesday and Thursday (check our socials for updated class schedules)

Our club is open to everyone at any time.. Fitness
Strength and conditioning
Flexibility
Padwork
Self defence
Sparring (optional)

For those that are interested in competing we teach full contact, ligh

t contact and semi contact (points) fighting disciplines.. We also have a belt structure from white up to black with gradings taking place 1 or 2 times per year.. Come along on any training night and have a look..you will always be welcome!

Donegal Town Kickboxing Club are delighted to announce two new beginner classes:

👧🧒 KIDS BEGINNER KICKBOXING
📅 Every Tuesday 7 - 7.50pm, starting Sept 8th for 6 weeks.
A fun, energetic introduction to kickboxing where kids can learn the basics, build confidence, improve fitness and coordination, and most importantly, have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

🥊 ADULTS BEGINNER KICKBOXING
📅 Every Thursday 7 - 7.50pm, starting Sept 10th for 6 weeks.
Whether you're looking to get fit, learn a new skill, build confidence, relieve some stress or simply try something different — our popular adult beginner class is a great place to start.

Our experienced coaches will take you through everything from the very beginning, helping you learn at your own pace in a friendly and supportive club environment 🥊💪.

Well done Jack O'Connell who had a fantastic fight at The Laois Open 2026.

After a difficult start against a bigger stronger opponent he kept his technique and broke through a heavy guard, showing his fitness and dedication to training over the past few months to take the win 💪

🥊🌟 What a performance from Emily! 🌟🥊

A huge congratulations to 10-year-old Emily, who competed in The Laois Open 2026 and came away with a fantastic win! 🏆👏

Emily, our youngest fighter, showed great courage, focus and determination during the fight. She has been putting in the work at training, and it was brilliant to see her take that hard work into competition and perform so well. 💪

Well done Emily — you should be very proud of yourself! ❤️👏

And a big thank you to everyone who supports our young fighters and helps make these opportunities possible, especially her Dad, club member and partner in kickboxing Stephen Harron 😁.

🥊AGE IS JUST A NUMBER — effort is what counts! 💪

Big shout out to the lads Rory McGowan & Peter Mullaney 🙌 Both who had put in weeks of hard work, training, sparring and preparation in the build-up to The Laois Open 2026, and that commitment really showed when it came time to step onto the tatami.

As is the case sometimes with mature fighters they had to face the same tall 18 year old opponent but that's always a great challenge and was a serious test for both fighters👊.

Whether you're 18, 30 something, 40 something, or beyond 😁, there's a place for you in the club. You can train at your own level, challenge yourself and, if you want to, experience the buzz of competition.

A massive well done to both lads for putting in the work and stepping up when it mattered. You did yourselves and the club proud. 🥊👏

For anyone who thinks they're too old to start, too old to compete or that kickboxing competition is only for younger fighters — think again!

🥊🥊Great day today at the Kickboxing Ireland Training Day in Newry lead by the KBI national squad coaches.

Big thanks in particular to Darren Doherty KKC for leading the session sharing his skills, insight and techniques followed by great rounds of sparring.

Both instructors agreed a Big Mac was earned on the journey home 🍔😁

What a moment for Gary Kerrigan! 👊🥊

Last weekend, Gary stepped onto the tatami and competed for the very first time.

His smile, that raised hand and that walk off the tatami say it all — a fantastic achievement and a moment he can be incredibly proud of. ❤️

For us as a club, these are the moments that make all the training worthwhile. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club where everyone can challenge themselves, overcome their nerves and discover what they are capable of. Moments like this are exactly what kickboxing is all about. 🥊👏

Natalie Murray takes gold in The Laois Open 2026🥇

Stepping onto the mats for the first time is a huge achievement in itself. But Natalie didn't just step up… she rose to the challenge. 💪

Facing a strong opponent, Natalie showed incredible composure throughout the bout and winning her section.
