Tryka’s Fittest Clan was always going to be about fun.

As a parent of teens and a pre-teen, the fact that they wanted to take part in something like this meant everything.

There was no formal training plan. Life is busy, the kids have their own sports, and thankfully they’re fit, healthy, and up for a challenge.

The car journey into the RDS was the first time they actually saw what lay ahead. I pulled up the layout, explained what was coming… and that’s when the laughter started.
The slagging, the excitement, the giddy nerves, it all kicked in at once.

Walking into the arena together, the buzz was unreal. They knew the story, we hatched a plan (which involved the kids doing most of the work!), and then we got stuck in. They encouraged each other and pushed through the tough moments.

They finished feeling proud of their achievements and as a parent you couldn't ask for more than that.

And I have no doubt they have inspired others to give it a go!

Tryka Series 1 Race #2

This weekend saw 35 Mojos taking part across the 3 days off fitness racing.

We had male and female members take part in solo and doubles events not to mention Trykas Fittest Clan!

The whole weekend was such a buzz whether you were taking part or cheering on your fellow members.

Team Mojo went out, gave it everything and finished feeling happy and proud of their achievements. And rightly so.

Seeing members kids cheering their M**s & Dad's on was the icing on the cake. Leading by example and being amazing role models for them. Just fab!

Keep Lunch On The Go Simple.

Supermarket Sweep Lunch:
1. Pick a protein chicken/smoked salmon/tuna
2. Add a veg/bag of salad
3. Pick a carb i.e pitta/wrap/brown bread/soup/ready made rice pouches

Add in:
1. Yogurt pot
2. Fruit pot
3. Handful of nuts
4. Popcorn

Home Prep Lunch:
1. Use leftover dinner for lunch
2. Prep one extra meal during the week and use for lunch
3. Take 5mins on Sunday eve to think about what you will do if you have to grab lunch on the go. Have an idea of what you are going to eat..

• Hormone fluctuations (oestrogen & progesterone)

Foods that can worsen bloating & inflammation

As we step into a new year, I just want to take a moment to reflect on the one we’re leaving behind. This past year was full of hard work, early mornings, sweaty sessions, challenges faced head on, and goals chased with real commitment. I’ve watched you show up even when it was tough, celebrate wins big and small, and prove to yourselves just how capable you are.

Whether your goal was to get stronger, fitter, healthier, more confident, or simply more consistent, you should be incredibly proud of what you achieved. Progress isn’t always loud, but it’s always powerful.

As I look ahead to the future of Mojo, I’m so excited for what’s coming. Bigger goals, new challenges, more community, and the same strong focus on training with purpose, balance, and enjoyment. Mojo will continue to grow, evolve, and support you in becoming the strongest version of yourself, inside and out.

Thank You for being part of this journey and for bringing the energy, positivity, and grit that make Mojo what it is. Here’s to another year of showing up, backing ourselves, and doing hard things together.

For over 10 years, my motto for Mojo has stayed the same: I am committed to getting you fit.

When i see everyone here putting the effort in i am truly in awe of their commitment. I hear their struggles of work life balance, i can even sometimes feel when they are under a lot of life pressure and just need to chat and move. Yet they still show up.

Fitness is an incredible tool for improving both health and mood. Across all our classes, everyone shares the same mindset, showing up to push themselves, feel better, and build a stronger, healthier body and mind. The energy they bring is palpable.

We push one another forward, always acknowledging effort and progress along the way. The atmosphere at Mojo is one of encouragement, support, and great banter.
