The members of Dalkey Rowing Club would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Patrick O’Brien who, sadly, passed away last night.

Patrick was a former medal winning member of the Senior Men as well a devoted supporter for many years, sharing his passion with his family—especially with his daughter Saoirse, who has followed in his footsteps and has won many medals for the club in recent years. Our thoughts are with Saoirse and the O’Brien family at this sad time.

And just like that we have finally sorted our Facebook. Some photos of our regatta that was held in Scotsman’s Bay, Sandycove last Saturday. Big thanks to all the clubs for coming out and huge thanks to everyone involved in the organising and executing. See you all again next year.

So very lucky to be a part of such a great club. Post row picnic with burgers and hot dogs supplied by Eric’s mum. Hummus and bread sticks from Nat and Cherry Bakewell Tart baked by Elaine. What a treat.
