A screenshot from "In the Name of the Father",
Yes, center stage a young CTD Cpl sent by the Defence Forces to help with the riot control scenes. The main body supplied were from the 11th Cav, excellent troops, who did everything that was asked from them. The Guy kicking in the door was DFB, with Greg Powell holding it closed ( Famous Stunt guy, can be seen driving a Saracen)
The Team that did the chase scene, US, replaced actors who couldn't move tactically and had been trying for ages. Jim Sheridan came to me and asked could we have a go, as the light was fading. We did it as one running shot. Once. And it was in the can.
11th Cav, great Guys.
I did 10 weeks on the production, I can be seen in 7 scenes. This was my first film.

While nothing exciting is happening in work that I am allowed to talk about (But there is somethingafoot)Progress is being made on the renovations out at the homestead.

Progress this week....Well, its been a slow week, really. I Removed the last of the Chimney breast and uncovered the return boiler pipe, this has got to be redirected in relation to the moved stove. I also took up the old laminate floor. Next I'll be finishing the new wall, complete with insulation, of course.
