This place definitely deserves their own post on my grid🙏
I have been visiting over the last number of years but I hugely benefited from here from January after my loss.🥲
I reached out to going through my miscarriage & after my miscarriage. She took me in New Year’s Eve to do a hormone re-balance & reflexology with a tiny touch of reki 🙌
Since that I was attending fertility reflexology which led onto maternity reflexology. 👣
Any ni**les or pains I do my best of get over to the girls whom are all amazing at what they do 🙏
My latest treatment was with therapist niamh and today we did some lymph drainage & reflexology to reduce the swelling in my feet & legs 32 weeks 🤰🏼🤰🏼🤰🏼

I can’t recommend here enough …. It’s only 7 mins roughly from the carrickdale hotel in such a peaceful & relaxed location.
You won’t be disappointed.

Loosing weight🙌….

When you talk about losing weight, what you usually mean is slimming down.
You might want to lose weight around the hips, thighs, belly, and arms. But the odd thing about slimming down is that it doesn't always mean losing actual weight off the scale.

It's possible to get thinner without actually seeing a change in your weight. This happens when you lose body fat while gaining muscle. Your weight may stay the same, even as you lose inches, a sign that you're moving in the right direction. Knowing the difference between losing weight and losing body fat can change how you see yourself and your progress.

A typical scale shows your weight, but it doesn't tell you how much of that weight is muscle, fat, water, bones, or organs. A bodybuilder's weight could be off the charts because of extra muscle, but it doesn't mean they are overweight or fat. Knowing your body composition is crucial information if you really want to get results. Unfortunately, the typical scale doesn't tell you that.

Here's how the scale may mislead you.

❇️It measures everything. The number on the scale includes muscles, fat, bones, organs, food, and water. For that reason, your scale weight can be a deceptive number.
❇️It doesn't reflect the changes happening in your body. If you're doing cardio and strength training, you may build lean muscle tissue at the same time you're losing fat. In that case, the scale may not change even though you're getting leaner and slimmer.
❇️It doesn't reflect your health. The scale can't tell the difference between fat and muscle. That means a person can have a low body weight but still have unhealthy levels of body fat.
❇️It isn't always a positive motivator. If you step on the scale and you're unhappy with what you see, how does that make you feel? You may question everything you're doing, wondering why you even bother at all. Focusing on weight may overshadow the positive results you're getting, such as fat loss, more endurance, and higher energy levels.

Anxiety after a miscarriage 🔴

Well Folkes I’m winning ….just over 6 months pregnant and extremely blessed to be in the position I’m in!😇🙌 👶
But guess what…today will be my first training session from I was probably 7 weeks pregnant!!!!!🫣🫣😜

…. My anxiety was at an all time high from the moment I found out I was pregnant again after my loss at Christmas…. 🥲I just went into complete “protective mode” yes I’m a pt & pre & post natal trained but I’m a mum and all I wanted to do was protect my unborn & protect myself from hurt again!🟠
I know as well as the next person that exercise is not linked to miscarriage but I swear every ni**le, pain, wrong turn in the bed … to name a few my head was back in that place!🥺💔

It’s hard at times but I’m getting there , the more movements from baba I feel, the reassurance scans , consultations with my midwives I’m getting more positive every day 💚

I miss my training 🏋️‍♀️not just the body benefits but for my mental health & state of mind 🧠
Today is the day I do my thing and focus on a more strong positive & confident me 🙌💪

Thanks to everyone especially my family ,friends & my bodytech family over this last few months for their ongoing support & love ♥️♥️♥️

I’m sure everyone has heard of the saying “you can take a horse to water but you can’t make him drink”😑

My job as a personal trainer is a bit like that ….. I can give all the advice & knowledge I have based on proper nutrition , tracking , moving , hydration …. List goes on !👍

However, the down side of this is - I can’t make the client do it!!!🙈

I provide you with the necessary tools to succeed but if you aren’t willing to really put 100% effort in with all named above …. Well…. Who is at fault ??? The client or the trainer ???🤔

I think you know the answer …..🤓

I put 100% into every single one of my clients and do my upmost best to get them their desired results but they need equally to put 100% effort in 👏💪💪

Do you go for results or excuses !?🤥🫣
