Prospect Holiday & Leisure Park is delighted to sponsor a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Courtown Sailing Club.

The AED is located on Cois Na Mara at the South Pier in Courtown, making it easily accessible for the entire community.

We sincerely hope it is never needed. However, if it is used, please contact Áine at Prospect so that the batteries and pads can be replaced promptly.

Looking for something active, fun, and genuinely valuable for your teenager this summer?

Our Taste of Sailing (Ages 13–18) course is the perfect way to get them outdoors, build confidence, and learn real-life skills — all while having a great time on the water.

Over the week, they’ll:
⚓ Learn the ropes of sailing
🌬 Build confidence in wind, weather & teamwork
⛵ Get hands-on experience in a safe, supportive environment
👫 Meet new friends and enjoy being active outdoors

No experience needed and all equipment is provided — just bring enthusiasm!

Dip a toe into sailing this summer! Taste of Sailing at Courtown Sailing Club is a great introduction to dinghy sailing where the focus is on having fun, making friends and building confidence on the water. We offer a range of Irish Sailing accredited sailing training courses for ages 8-18, so who knows this might be the start of a very exciting adventure!
