Reading Ross Cousens' "Tai Chi Progression" article in Issue 94 of TCAH Magazine reminded me of Water Phase changes. If we think of the vertical axis as Tai Chi Skill level and the horizontal axis as Time and Effort in the correct training method, we can see the "apparent" plateaus in progress over time. Just remember if you feel you start in or hit a plateau it may mean you are learning the most because you are going through a "state change"!
