Adult & Children's Swimming Pools
A relaxing swim, lane swimming, exercise in water or the challenge of learning to swim are just some of the opportunities that await you in our pools. We have the following facilities available:

Aerobics/Dance Studio
The Mardyke Arena contains 1 large spacious mirrored aerobics studio and a multi purpose studio both with a professionally sprung wooden floor. We have a wide range of classes and all our instructors are highly experienced and qualified. Athletics Track
The Synthetic Athletics Track in the Mardyke is fully floodlit and is an 8 lane international standard athletics track. The Track has been host to the BUPA Ireland Cork City Sports for a number of years. The Track is managed by the Department of Physical Education & Sport University College Cork. Fitness Gymnasiums
The Mardyke Arena boasts an extensive variety of exercise and fitness equipment. The equipment at the Arena is Life Fitness, one of the top brands worldwide. A plentiful supply of treadmills, steppers, cross trainers, bikes and rowers will help to provide a good aerobic workout while our resistance equipment and free weights area ensures that all levels of fitness and requirements are met by all users no matter when they train. Our sauna and steam room can help you unwind after a stressful day at work or relax after a swim or workout. The sauna provides an environment for overall mental and physical health. Rock Climbing has become an increasingly popular activity in this country. The 'Mardyke Peak' Climbing Wall combines the excitement of climbing within the safe and predictable environment of the indoors. The 'Mardyke Peak' gives everyone and anyone the opportunity and experience of indoor climbing. Bouldering
The Bouldering section gives all climbers of all standards the opportunity to improve and practice their climbing. The Bouldering section gives you perfect climbing conditions without the restriction of using ropes. Leading
The ‘Mardyke Peak' has a large leading and top roping section that enables climbers of all levels to test their skills. There are a large number of routes available on a regular basis to give plenty of variety. The wall also has natural holds to allow the use of equipment that would be used for outdoor climbing. Over Hang
The Over Hang section is the most challenging for the experienced climber and has the capability of hosting local and national competitions. Sports Halls
