Mayfield Renshukan Karate Club Mayfield Renshukan Karate Club is a traditional SKIF Ireland Karate Club based in Mayfield Cork city (8th Dan Black Belt).

Mayfield Renshukan was founded in 1971 by Sensei Abe Mccarthy R.I.P. Martin O' Keeffe has now taken over as Chief Instructor 5th Dan with the assistance of Sensei Adrian Cotter 4th Dan under the watchful eye of Sensei Greg Manning 7th Dan. Mayfield Renshukan is the Cork location for the National Grading and Training Seminars with Kancho Kanazawa 10th Dan annually. Over the years many highly respec

ted Sensei's from Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation Headquarters in Tokyo, have visited and trainied students in Mayfield Renshukan. Some of the highly respected Sensei's include: Kancho Kanazawa 10th Dan, Nobuaki Kanazawa Sensei 8th Dan, Manabu Murakami Sensei 8th Dan, Suzuki Sensei 6th Dan, Daizo Kanazawa Sensei 4th Dan, and the whole SKIF Japanese team on occasions.

A great night's training under the watchful eye of Kyoshi Payne. Everyone enjoyed the experience and hard training.
