Progress isn't always exciting.
Most of the time, it's actually pretty boring.
It's showing up when you don't feel like it.
Adding a small bit of weight to the bar
Doing one more rep than last week.
Moving a little better than before.
Just small improvements, repeated over and over again.
That's what progressive overload is. Not doing everything perfectly for a week, but doing the basics consistently for months.
The people who get the best results aren't always the most talented.
They're the ones who keep showing up when the process gets boring!
