Sign & Cycle

Sign & Cycle We are a project enabling Deaf and hard of hearing trainees, among others, to become bicycle mechanics.

This year’s festival is a 3 day event for all fitness levels with daytime and evening cycles to bring some fun to the summer.

Cork Cycling Festival is run by a voluntary team who just love bikes as a great way to get about and want more people to enjoy cycling. The festival is entirely free to the public, welcoming all ages and walks of life with a special focus on family-friendly/leisure cycling events.

A big thank you to Lord Mayor Fergal Dennehy for attending our public Sign and Cycle free bike maintenance event. We’d also like to thank Cortado Coffee providing free coffee at the event.

Our team shared the basics of bike safety checks and maintenance at yesterday’s event in the Marina to help promote Bike Week.

If you’d like to view our pre-loved bikes or book a bike service, please contact us on 021 4294111 or visit our store in Ballinlough.

Delivery of 10 bikes and accessories to one of the Cork County Council Direct Provision centres.

Cork County Council and Cork Sports Partnership are promoting cycling and eco-friendly practices by purchasing second-hand bikes from Sign&Cycle and distributing them to the community.

The bikes will be used for women’s cycling training, with a focus on cycling safety.

All bikes have been donated to Sign&Cycle by the public or rescued from the Recycling Centre, giving them a new life.

Thank you to everyone involved in this great initiative
