Marrey Bikes is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Mayo Gravel Dash Series, a new and exciting cycling series embracing the rapidly growing discipline of gravel riding.
The discipline is hugely popular in the States and Europe, and now gravel riding is gaining momentum in a big way in Ireland.
Venues in Mid Mayo will be used to host this 5-round series, held on Monday evenings. The primary goal is to provide an opportunity for kids who have come through the clubs’ youth development programs to try this new discipline and express their cycling enthusiasm. Ironically, this event takes them back to their roots—many kids before the 90s cycled to the bog to save turf; now, they’ll be heading to the bog to showcase their skills and talents.
The series will feature events for various age groups, including U8 to U14, U16, Juniors, Women, and Seniors. Any off-road bike is acceptable, but all participants must be members of Cycling Ireland.

July 1st: Clogher Loop
July 15th: Carramore Bog
July 29th: Clogher Loop
August 12th: Carramore Bog.
Race Times and Entry Fees:
Youth (U8-U14) from 6:00 PM, (up to 25min events) series entry is €20 or €5 per event
U16 7.15pm (40min event) series for €30 or €8 on the evening
Adults A and B events from 7:15 PM, (70min event) series entry is €50 or €15 on the evening
