Tuesday Night Need for Speed
Back to an old favourite tonight – the pyramid session.
I first started doing these sessions with John Joe Rogers about 15 years ago. John Joe is a true legend of Cavan running, and these sessions were a regular part of the training. Simple, tough and effective.
It's easy to get caught doing the same runs week after week, but a bit of variety keeps things fresh and challenges the body in different ways. The funny thing is, after all these years, pyramid sessions still work just as well today as they did back then.
Great turnout tonight, plenty of effort put in, and a reminder that some of the old-school sessions never go out of fashion.
