🏃 COUCH TO 5K – STARTING 10TH SEPTEMBER! 🏃‍♀️
East Breffni AC 🤝 Engine 1 Fitness
Thinking about getting into running, or getting back at it after a break? This is the perfect place to start.
We’re kicking off a 6-week Couch to 5K programme, designed to build you up gradually and get you confidently to the finish line.
📅 Starts Thursday 10th September
⏰ Thursdays at 7pm
📍 Cootehill Cycle Track
🏃 6-week coached programme
⏱️ Timed 5K event to finish
🏋️ Includes a gym session at Engine 1 Fitness
💶 €25 for the full 6 weeks
No running experience needed — just come along and give it a go.

We’ve been here all summer — and what a summer it’s been for East Breffni AC. 💪
Our Tuesday night sessions on the cycle track have brought the club right into the heart of town, with some brilliant nights and fantastic numbers — 30+ runners on some evenings.
Different abilities, different goals, but everyone turning up and putting the work in. It’s been great to see the group growing and the buzz around the sessions week after week.
Plenty of miles, plenty of hard sessions and plenty of craic along the way. 👏
A big thanks to everyone who has joined us throughout the summer — and we’re not finished yet! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in the Monaghan 10 Miler and 4 Miler today. Brilliant efforts, and fantastic club representation all around! 👏
Another big shoutout goes to Anne Hand, who smashed it at yesterday’s Kayakarun adventure race, taking 3rd place in her age category! A well-deserved podium finish after a tough multi-sport challenge. 🛶🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️
