Our fantastic handball team of 11 players have been working really hard this week preparing for the Rackard League Handball competition next week. It is so heartening to see the renowned handballing tradition continue so strongly in Coolgreany. A sincere thanks to Coolgreany Handball Club for being so generous and accommodating in allowing us to use their wonderful facilities and to Wendy for giving so much of her time and sharing her advice with the children. Well done to George Foley who battled hard today in the U14 County Championship Final only to lose out 15 to 13 in a tiebreaker. Some great handball played by both these lads and very little separated them. George has improved greatly over the last year. Well done George 👍
