A short soliloquy on my journey with mama Cacao,

My journey with mama cacao has been one of wonder and pain, Without her I felt alone in the strain,
But when I began to allow the distain that I felt for myself at the start of this terrain,
To be washed from my womb and not brought to the tomb,
I saw the light at the end of that dark night.
While the journey is ongoing it’s sure showing that there is hope and all is not broke 🙃❤️🙏

The earliest mention of gongs can be found in sixth century Chinese records, which mentioned the instrument to have come from a country between Tibet and Burma. The term gong originated in the Indonesian island of Java. Scientific and archaeological research has established that Burma, China, Java and Annam were the four main gong manufacturing centres of the ancient world. The gong found its way into the Western World in the 18th century, when it was also used in the percussion section of a Western-style symphony orchestra. A form of bronze cauldron gong known as a resting bell was widely used in ancient Greece and Rome: for instance in the famous Oracle of Dodona, where disc gongs were also used.

Our next Full Moon Circle will be held in aid of Look Good Feel Better Ireland, a charity working with women undergoing cancer treatment and helping them to feel this best during this difficult time ❤️

The October full moon is often called the Hunter's Moon, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac, because that moon occurs when the season for hunting many game animals begins.

Relationships will be actually the focus of this particular full moon in October 2022, not only because the sun will be in Libra — the sign of partnership — but also because it will be in a close conjunction with Venus, the planet of love and romance😻

The gong has become a welcome part of our Full Moon Circle as the sound of a gong helps the brain reach deep relaxation – specifically the delta and theta brain wave states, which are the slowest brain waves in humans. We tend to reach these states during daydreaming or deep sleep, and they are known to aid relaxation, creativity and natural healing.

Given the power of the Full Moon, it’s additions to the circle help to further our cleansing abilities, setting us up for the next lunar cycle 🌝
