New season vibes, Green & White war paint, and those practice sessions had us ready for battle! โ๏ธ
Seventeen of our youth team lined up today and every one of them ran with great bravery. Giving their best, competing hard & running strong right to the line.

It was brilliant to see so many of our youngsters stick around afterwards to shout on our senior athletes, when ๐๐ป๐ฒ & ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ made their club debuts, while ๐๐ถ๐๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฒ๐

A first-ever place on the Senior East Cork podium for Great Island Athletics, building nicely on the team honours collected at Novice level last year and another important step forward for our young club. โ
