There was a good turnout of 23 guns at our monthly shoot in the Quarry today. Eight shooters managed to go straight, Jason Rose, Roy Parke, Greg McGroary, Patrick Lawrence. Maurice Rice, Terry Kelly, John G McGloin and P.J. Gallen. With Roy and Greg leaving early, six were left to contest it. Jason, Maurice and Terry shot it straight and had to go again. 1st Terry Kelly, 2nd Maurice Rice and 3rd Jason Rose. The club would like to thank everyone for their continued support and our next shoot is on Sun 27th Sept at 11 am.

There was a good turnout of 25 guns for our return to the Quarry today. The breezy and showery conditions left targets tricky, with only 2 shooters managing to go straight, Noel Given and P.J.Kelly with several close behind on 44. Noel and P.J.were happy to split 1st and 2nd with young.Michael Gallen and Conor McKiverigan sharing 3rd. Well done to everyone. Our next shoot is on August 30th at 11am.

There was a great turnout of 30 guns at our monthly shoot in the Quarry today. Seven managed to go straight, John McCool, Noel Given, Craig Loughlin, Arnie Irwin, Chris Joyce, P.J.Kelly and .Maurice Rice. After the shoot-off, Arnie emerged as winner, P.J. second and Craig third. Unfortunately this was the clubs final shoot in the Quarry. We would like to thank all those who supported us in any way over the past 14 years, and to the Henry family for the use of the Quarry. We hope to be up and running as soon as possible The hunt is on for a new location and hopefully it won't take too long

21 guns contested our monthly D.T.L. shoot in the Quarry today. A strong westerly breeze left the targets tricky, but this didn't stop Davey Friel and hot shot, Caitlin O Loughlin going straight. In the final there was no stopping Caitlin,and she comfortably seen off the challenge of Davey. P.J.Kelly was 3rd on 44. Quite a weekend for Caitlin! The club would like to thank all those who turned up today in the difficult conditions and our next shoot is on Sun 26th April at 11am.

There was a good turnout of 29 guns at our monthly shoot in the Quarry today. Targets were proving difficult at times, but that didn't stop Brendan McQuillan, Noel Given, Maurice Rice and Arnie Irwin going straight. In the shoot-off Brendan and Noel were tied on 44 and decided to split 1st and 2nd. Arnie was third on 40. The club would like to thank everyone who turned up or helped on the day. Our next shoot is on Sun 29th March at 11am.

There was big turnout of 35 guns at our monthly shoot in the Quarry yesterday. In the cool conditions, eight shooters managed to go straight, Robert Devereux, John McCool, Craig Loughlin, Maurice Rice, John G McGloin, Eddie Gilmartin, Arnie Irwin and P.J.Kelly. After the shoot-off Arnie and John G.were still tied on 45, with Eddie on 44. It took another round to sort it, with John G. emerging as winner. The club would like to thank those who turned up or helped at the shoot and thanks also to Jim Murphy who donated a bottle of whiskey. Our next shoot is on Sunday 22nd of February .

There was a big turnout of 48 guns at our Xmas shoot in the Quarry yesterday. In the dull but calm conditions, 11 shooters managed to go straight, Stephen Conway, David McGroary, Garry McGing, Eddie Gilmartin, David Friel, Terry Kelly, P.J.Gallen, Francie. Curneen , John G McGloin, John McGloin and P.J. Kelly. With light fading rapidly, it was decided to shoot the final, single barrel sudden death. After the 8th stand P.J. Kelly emerged in 1st place, with Terry Kelly 2nd and.David Mc Groary 3rd after a further 2 stands. In the shoot-off in the sporting Brendan McQuillan held his nerve to take 1st with Tommy Love 2nd and Terry Kelly 3rd. The club like to thank all those who turned up, and anyone who helped out. We would.like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year. Our next shoot is on Sun 25th January at 11am
