Great day out Concra Wood Golf Club on Saturday, the course was in great condition. Captain Paul McArdle ripped one down the middle of the first fairway to get proceedings under way for the first outing of the year albeit under different circumstances this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing.

Thanks to all committee members including Brian Morgan and Noel Myers and Concra Wood staff for making it a safe and enjoyable day for all our members.

It’s almost that time of year again when our society outings begin. This year’s Captain Fergal McGuigan will be driving our season off on Saturday the 27th of April at Rossmore Golf Club with tee times from 12.30pm.

All members are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they have the best view of what will no doubt be a flawless drive down the first fairway.

Can we ask that all TV crews attending please park their broadcasting vehicles as close to the first tee box as possible.
