Clontarf Women's Rugby We’re a fun team of ladies from 18 to ancient (we won’t name and shame!) who love playing rugby, hanging out in the club bar, and winning silverware!

We kicked the season off in style this Sunday at home in Castle Avenue, with a 22-17 win over league favourites Wicklow. Winger Amelia Allen and birthday girl Saoirse Creighton were our try scorers, while out-half Dianne McIllhagga added 7 points from the tee💪. Despite finding ourselves down to 13 players at one point, a strong defensive effort in the closing minutes held off the Wicklow comeback to secure the win. We’re back training tonight at 7pm in Castle Avenue as we shift our focus to next Sunday’s game away to Gorey ❤️💙

Darragh has also represented in several compititions most recently at the B&I cup in Leeds.

Clontarf Rugby, as part of its recently adopted Strategic Development Plan,  is committed to developing Women’s Rugby within the Club.
The Club wishes to engage a part-time Head Coach for the Women’s section and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates, who have played adult rugby at a senior level and who possess an accredited adult rugby coaching qualification or, if not, will be in the process of obtaining such a qualification.
