The Shannonside Stealers Wheelchair Basketball Club proudly showed off their new gear at training tonight. Pictured with them is Donal Murtagh, a local businessman who didn't hesitate to sponsor our new hoodies and training tops when we reached out for help. Donal and his lovely family came along to Moate Sports and Recreation Centre to meet us all and even hopped into some chairs to try out our sport! Without the support of Donal Murtagh Mobility, situated in Moate Business Park, we wouldn't have been able to do it. Thank you Donal, you are now an honorary Stealer! 🏀💙💛

Our hearts are broken today as our clubmate and good friend Archie has passed away. Archie was a shining example of sportsmanship and determination and every minute spent with him was a blessing. Our deepest condolences and thoughts are with Padraic, Paula, George, Isaac and all of his family and friends as they try to deal with his loss, which has come far too soon. Rest in Peace Archie. 🧡🧡🧡
