Garda RFC is the rugby team founded by member's An Garda Síochána but it is not solely made up of members of An Garda Síochána as the club is fully open to all. For the 2014/2015 season the men's senior team will be playing in the Leinster League division 2A. Adult:
Training is every Tuesday & Thursday @ 19.30
Matches are on Sunday afternoon's. Juvenile:
Training is every Saturday @ TBA

All at Garda Westmanstown RFC were shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Former Club player Brendan Breen. Brendan played with the Club in the early 2000’s. A staunch Munster supporter and as GAA man he followed his beloved Kerry.

Brendan transferred to Waterford and continued to stay involved in sport through Waterford GAA.

The Club would like to send our deepest sympathies to Brendan’s Wife Cathy and his children Aidan, Grace and Roisin. And to all his family, Garda Colleagues and Friends.

Great start to our senior Youths pre-season programme yesterday evening! Lots of fun and excitement getting out on the pitch, refreshing the basics and setting standards.

This programme is for boys born in 2008 (July-Dec), 2009, 2010 and 2011. All levels of rugby are welcome and beginners are encouraged to give it a try!
