A lot of our players played and trained with Jack and more were coached by Damien. Congratulations what a very proud moment for the family.

A very proud moment for the Westmanstown Garda Rugby Family as our long time stalwart Damien Maher got to line up alongside his eldest son Jack Maher tonight in the Metro League game against De La Salle Palmerston FC. Damien has played with the club and held various committee positions and was instrumental in the revival of Westmanstown youths rugby where Jack played up along and is now a member of the senior men’s team. Congrats to Damien and Jack on a night to remember.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Rolanus Kaarzauskas. I know he will live on with the rest of us, as we remember his good nature, willingness to compete and to learn. RIP Rolo.
