Two ISKA champions yesterday in and along with a sliver for Dan Moriarty and a Bronze for .grigoryan who only lost a close contest to his divisions champ. Good fun day for the lads.

Two weekends back to back for . Had a razor close fight for the Belt on Clanwars last weekend in Belfast coming up short on a split decision against a top man in Nate Kelly.
So what does he do? 5 days later flies to Poland and becomes Polish National Champion.
Kevin started in SBG 5 years ago and is a prime example of a young man dreaming big, believing in himself and he has the discipline to dedicate himself every single day to his craft and the courage to test himself when opportunities arise and when preparation meets opportunity you get results like this. Well done Kevin we are all very proud of you👏🏆

Absolute honour to receive my BJJ Black Belt from last night. The start of a new beginning.

It's been 17 years since my first Jiu jitsu class. A wise man once said, "It's not about who's best but who is left."

If I was just chasing the belt, I would have quit many years ago . I train because jiu jitsu is not only fun, but it makes me the best version of myself. It's as good for the mind as it is for the body and has helped mould me to who I am today. The belt to me represents not just a certain level of skill but most of all resilience.

I've met some amazing people and made many lifelong friends during my time on the mats.
I always say life is the fight and that martial arts is just a fun way to keep fit.

Couldn't be prouder to represent SBG

Great day out today . We had 9 SBG competitors fighting today with all 9 medalling in their divisions and 3 of the 9 coming home with Gold. So proud of everyone, a tough day at the office with massive experience gained for all. We will re-group and level up again for the next one. Oss
