✨ 3 things limiting your burpees 👀

Burpees aren’t always a fitness problem.

Sometimes the issue is a lack of mobility or strength that’s making the movement harder than it needs to be.

1️⃣ Tight hamstrings
Forward folds and plank walkouts can help improve flexibility and make it easier to fold, step in and move efficiently through your burpee.

2️⃣ Tight hips & poor mobility
Single leg circles and the World’s Greatest Stretch can help improve hip mobility and make transitions smoother.

3️⃣ Lack of upper body strength
Hand-release push-ups build strength in the same position you need when your chest comes to the floor during a burpee.

Improve the movement, and the burpees often become more efficient too 💪

A few things I’ve learned in my 37th year… 💜

1. Health really is your wealth.

It sounds cliché until your health is challenged in some way. Then you realise that so many of the things we stress about every day become insignificant. We only get one body, and looking after it is one of the most important investments we’ll ever make.

2. Balance is something you learn.

I still love training. I still love healthy food. But if I want a cinnamon roll, I’m having the cinnamon roll. If I fancy a takeaway, I’m ordering it and enjoying every bite.

No guilt. No “making up for it” the next day.

Balance isn’t something you magically have—it’s something you learn over time.

3. “No” is a complete sentence.

I’ve become much better at saying no to things I simply don’t want to do. Not because I’m rude. Not because I don’t care.

Just because my time and energy matter too.

4. The people around you influence more than you think.

I’ve learned that being around constant negativity can drain you without you even noticing. Sometimes creating a little distance isn’t about disliking someone—it’s about protecting your own mindset.

A more positive outlook genuinely changes how you experience life.

5. Memories matter more than the grind.

For years I convinced myself that working more was always the answer.

Lately, I’ve realised I want more days off. More experiences. More memories.

The work will always be there.

Life won’t.

Money comes and goes. Opportunities come and go. But time is the one thing we never get back.

So if there’s something you’ve always wanted to do, stop waiting for the perfect moment.

Book the trip.
Take the day off.
Make the memory.

Because none of us know how many tomorrows we’re guaranteed.

Here’s to 37. 💜

Movement is preventative healthcare.

Helping people move more, get stronger, reduce pain, improve mobility, build confidence, manage stress, and create healthier habits matters.

The healthcare system treats problems.
Coaches and instructors help prevent them.

Agree or disagree?

Name some other services that are preventative healthcare⬇️
