This man was in my gym today telling me the local hairdressers who know me well told him to come up to me as I would be interested!

I have further heard that he has been using my name, telling people that he was at my gym, I purchased a set of knives and saying that I sent him to them.

I want to clarify I did not do either!

Operation Clean up is finally underway at JHFitness 🏋️‍♂️😂 January has had a few challenging set backs for us but we are working hard to be back in action in the next week or so 🤞 Thank you to my members for being so patient & if you would like to join us please drop a message for more info on classes, small groups or PT, we have something to suit everyone 🏋️‍♂️

24 days later and still no further forward 😪

Another burst in the same place last night (gym not damaged- although street has been left a mess again)

Also very Early last Sunday morning men where seen tarring the damaged hole outside the gym. When I went to have a look at 9am they were gone however 200m down the road was a car with a very damaged looking wheel, obviously having hit the hole the night before another victim of their work.

I had been promised someone would come to look at the gym yesterday (Friday 23rd) this was cancelled due to the lady being sick (which is fair enough)
However there was nobody else in her place that could come out and I was not given a new daye to reschedule.
This lady is based in Monaghan and apparently is the only person for Uisce Eireann that can come to Donegal to look at my business.

Uisce Eireann directly employee up to 2,400 people and another 2,100 operating within local authorities on their behalf that’s a total of at least 4500 employees and yet only 1 woman is able to come to Donegal. 🤯🤯

10 days later and still no further forward. Still No official contact from Irish water still not able to get my business back up and running😪 Waking up to a phone call on New Year’s Day to say the gym was flooded due to the water mains bursting on the main road. A business that I have worked so hard in over the last 8 years to build up my members, expand my equipment and build something that helped the local people. Fitness is so much more than just training, it’s essential for mental health aswell as physical health, it’s somewhere for people to escape for an hour for themselves, somewhere people can socialize and meet new people. January is peak time in the fitness industry and the longer this goes on the harder it will be for me to come back from all this. I will lose members, I feel I am letting members down, I am still paying bills for the gym with no income, I am unsure if Irish water will stand over all this, I am unsure of my livelihood and business. The water system in Clonmany over the last few years has been terrible, countless busts, schools and businesses having to close, roads destroyed, cars damaged on the sinking holes and pot holes they leave behind. 😪😪 we need better from Irish water. I’m not someone who enjoys putting stuff on social media but I don’t have many other options to get my voice heard. I’ve been onto numerous politicians who all seem to have the same response ‘They will do what they can but Irish Water can be very difficult to work with’ 😪
