*BIG NEWS*

We are thrilled to announce that 4 Jets players have been selected for Basketball Ireland’s academy programme this season. This is BI’s development pathway for players with ambition to play at the highest level of our sport.

On the U14 Boys West Regional Academy; Balasz Lengyel was selected for the first time this season; while Jack Hickey and Tommy Flynn return to the academy for their second season. The West Academy includes the top 29 U14 players drawn from clubs in Clare, Galway, South Mayo and South Roscommon.

On the U15 Boys Connaught Provincial Academy, Matthew Minihan was selected following a strong showing at the U14 Academy last year. The Connaught academy at U15 level comprises the top 30 U15 players from clubs in Clare, Galway, Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon and Sligo.

We are so proud of the boys for this achievement and we wish them the best for the coming season.

The Ireland U17 MNT who were crowned Four Nations champions this weekend 👊

Wins against England and Wales and a narrow defeat to Scotland proved enough to take the title.

Ireland’s Justice Iheme picked up the tournament MVP, while Karl Walsh was named an All-Star.

Odhran Donnellan and the Ireland U17 Men have *won* the 4 Nations tournament in Glasgow!! The defeated Wales this morning in the decisive fixture.

Fantastic achievement for the squad, we are delighted to see it.
