‘In Logs We Trust’ has just dropped!

Filmed by Kev L. Smith over 3 days, this short film captures the essence of the Annual 2017 Longboard Competition and Festival hosted by the West Coast Surf Club in challenging conditions at Lahinch aka Surf City, Co. Clare 8th – 10th September 2017.

OK y'all, announcing more details on the upcoming 2017 Annual Longboard Competition and Surf Festival taking place here in Surf City Lahinch 8th, 9th and 10th September.

This year we’ll be including additional categories including for example Best Novice, Best Senior/Master and Annual Legend so watch this space for more details: plus we’ll also be running off a Retro Expression Session so if you surf a glassed on single fin or go Commando with a leash-less log or hell, if your go to board is a mini-Simmons, as long as it’s retro, you’re in!

Roughly the weekend will comprise in addition to the competition, movies n' beers Friday night, BBQ and DJ on Saturday followed by prize-giving and some good ol’ kick-ass rock n’ roll ‘til late. Stick around on Sunday for fun stuff and to catch up with your traveling buddies.

We’ll also be filming the event throughout the weekend including a portrait of each entrant for personal fame and posterity. All included in your entrance fee (€15 per person).

Pre-registration including ISA membership is a MUST. No exceptions.

2016 West Coast Longboard Competition Results, with many thanks to the major sponsor Paddle Pillow, and all the local businesses.
Dave Collins from Paddle Pillow presented the winners from the men 1st and womens 1st place each with a cheque to the value of €500, 2nd place received TShirts from Emerald Surfwear
