Well done to all Clara AC members who took part in Round 6 of the Offaly 5K Series hosted by Naomh Mhuire AC Daingean yesterday evening, Friday the 12 of June.

A lovely temperate evening with a gentle breeze to keep us cool while passing through the wonderful surrounds of Daingean.

Clara AC was represented by 11 member. Our Mens team consisted of Ollie Galvin, David Staunton, Sean Purcell and Ken Hume who came in 8th place.

A big thank you to Naomh Mhuire AC for their brilliant organisation of the event and lovely refreshments afterwards.

Clara AC is looking forward to hosting round 7 of the Healthy Offaly 5K road race series on Sunday 05 July.

Well done to all Clara AC members who took part in Round 5 of the Offaly 5K Series hosted by Ballyskenach Athletic Club on Friday the 29th of May.

A lovely course which took 383 participants through the beautiful grounds of the Cistercian College on a fabulous evening.

A big thank you to Ballyskenach AC for their brilliant organisation of the event and refreshments afterwards.

Looking forward to round 6 of the Healthy Offaly 5K road race series with Naomh Mhuire AC Daingean for their 5K race on 12 June.

Clara AC member Ken Hume joined Jordan & Cian Adams today in Tullamore to support them on their 30th marathon in 33 days to raise funds and awareness for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Well done to everyone who has supported them so far on their journey and good luck to Jordan and Cian for a safe and successful few days ahead ♥️
