💚 North Westmeath A.C- Royal Canal Longford ❤️

We had great representation from North Westmeath A.C club members down in Longford at the weekend with participation in the 10K, half marathon and marathon 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Treasa, Karen, Laura and Maria ran the 10K 🏃‍♀️ Congratulations to Treasa who placed 1st female in tough warm conditions 🏆☀️ Well done 👏 😀

Eamon, Cathal, Darragh and Mark ran in the half marathon while Niamh ran another marathon to add to her ongoing tally 🤩

Well done also to our Sunday crew who also ran their "Sunday run" yesterday morning around the roads and byroads of Castlepollard 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 💚❤️

Mark was flying the North westmeath athletic club flag in Poland today 🇵🇱💚❤️

Congratulations to Mark who achieved a Personal best in the Cracovia Marathon in Kraków 🏃‍♂️ Well done, absolutely well deserved after the hard training you've put in over the last couple of months 👏 🏅

- Following success of our winter C25K programme, we are beginning a new set of C25K sessions next Monday 13th April in Castlepollard Town Park at 7:30pm 💚🏃‍♀️❤️

- Pre-registration at the link below is required in order to participate. Membership fee is €50 and is valid until 31st December 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

- Once you are pre-registered, we'll add you to the C25K WhatsApp group to keep you up to date on communications regarding C25K 🤩

💚It was great Easter-filled running weekend for our North Westmeath A.C members ❤️

Mark participated in the Noel McManus half marathon in Mohill on Good Friday, great preparation for his upcoming marathon in May 👏 🏃‍♂️

Also, we had great representation at the infamous Moynalty 4 mile event yesterday 🏃‍♀️

Gerry, Claire, Darragh and Treasa enjoyed great runs in Moynalty with Treasa placing 3rd female out of a huge field of runners!🏅👏

Congratulations to Treasa and also to Gerry who participated in his first event as a North Westmeath A.C club member 🤩
