What a difference this makes.

In 2003, the city of Boston buried the freeway underground. This massive construction project, known as the "Big Dig," was one of the largest infrastructure projects in U.S. history.

The once elevated freeway, which traversed the city center and separated many neighborhoods, was relocated into a tunnel. In its place, the Rose Kennedy Greenway was created, a beautiful parkland with green spaces, trails, and recreational areas.

Today, this space reconnects the once-separated neighborhoods and provides the people of Boston with a vibrant public space. The face of the city has completely changed—from gray concrete and traffic jams to green oases and a better urban experience. 🌳🚗

The annual Halloween Amnesty will once again be taking place. Household combustible materials (beds, sofas, wooden doors etc.) will be accepted free of charge at Fingal County Council's Recycling Centres; Estuary, Swords and Coolmine for residents of Fingal (will require proof of address) starting Wednesday 23rd until Thursday 31st October. When you cover a motorway with a solar farm you..,

1. Improve the air quality for those living adjacent to the motorway & reduce pollution related respiratory diseases.

2. Eliminate noise pollution & thus reduce sleep disturbances for those living next to motorways.

3. Free up fertile agricultural land to grow food crops locally with lower carbon emission transportation costs.
