With the development of this course completed in 2003, it is clear to everyone at Castlecomer Golf Club that Pat Ruddy has designed a unique Golf Course. In total thirteen new holes were incorporated into the eighteen hole layout with tees and greens built to USGA standards. The holes have sand based fairways with irrigation built in. The construction of the latter from the outset is rare for park

land layouts in Ireland, but certainly ensures top class, year round playing conditions, no matter what the prevailing climatic conditions. One by one, as construction took place, each hole surpassed the last in it's stunning beauty and architecture. We are delighted to announce, we are now accepting applications for our Introductory Membership offer.

The offer runs from 1st September 2026 through to the end of December 2027.

This offer represents phenomenal value for 16 months full membership.

The club is progressively expanding and making great strides with bunkering and drainage projects commencing shortly.

We run various competitions weekly throughout the year that cater for golfers of all categories and abilities.

Social scrambles on Mondays and Fridays, Ladies competitions on Tuesday, Saturday and Sundays.

Mixed Open Singles on Wednesday evenings and all day Thursday and Senior competitions on Wednesdays.

Most weekends are Gents Open Singles also. And when the evenings draw in, we run 13 hole competitions throughout the winter.

Our bar and catering facilities provide a modern and comfortable environment where you can enjoy the tasty menu from Foxglade Castlecomergolf or recap on your experiences on the course.

Whether you are taking up the game or returning to it after a hiatus, we would love to have you become a member of our wonder club.
