WHY WE SHOULD USE CASH RATHER THAN GREEDY BANKERS

This will give you something to think about.
Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a bank card?

I have a €50 banknote in my pocket. I go to a restaurant and pay for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the note to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the note to pay the barber. The barber will then use the note for shopping. After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a €50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry, (made no money) from every cash payment transaction made so far..

- But if I come to a restaurant and pay for dinner digitally with the card - The card bank fees for my payment transaction will be charged to the seller for around 3%, so around €1.50 and so the fee will be €1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc..... Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial €50 will remain only €5 and the remaining €45 became the property of the bank thanks to all digital transactions and fees.
The banks have been screwing us for years with the help of their partners in Governments. They've made banks automated so you can't argue, introduced online banking to oversee and when they rip off entire countries are bailed out with our money on top of our money they've squandered or stole.
Cash means more human interactions, more questions, more conversations about why cash needs to be everyone’s priority. No one needs to know where I shop, how much I spend and what I buy
Time to stand firm on cash or we will become slaves to the banks.
Insist on cash where you are the one paying.

Just a word of thanks from the outgoing committee of Liam, Johnny and Terry to all the lads for their co-operation over the year. And best wishes to the incoming committee of Mick, Ray, Paul and Paddy. As a parting request we'd like to see them looking into the bibs issue because we've had complaints that they all seem to be getting too small for the lads to fit into, especially since Christmas! Possibly they were accidentally mixed up with a set of bibs for the under-10s.
