Together, the team will complete nine marathons in nine days, covering over 235 miles across Ireland from Saturday 12th to Sunday 20th September. The route will span the country, passing through Derry/Londonderry, Belfast, Dublin, Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Cong. All while raising much-needed funds for Cancer Fund for Children.
Rory and the team will be in Castlebar, McHale Park, on Sunday 20th of September. They will depart at 8am in the morning and walk 26 miles to Daisy Lodge Cong Site.
We are hoping to give Rory and the team a good send-off from Castlebar, it will be the last day of the challenge, and no doubt they will need some encouragement. We would love if Castlebar Mitchels GAA Club could come out and give them a good send-off. I have attached an engagement pack and please see below the route
