What is Pétanque? Pétanque - pronounced "pay-tank", sometimes called boules, is a game that can be enjoyed by all the family and socially with friends for fun or more competitively up to European and World Championship levels. French in origin, it is now played right across the world and is one of the most inclusive activities available where people of all ages, gender, ability and fitness can play equally together.
It’s played outside, on a piste, made up of rough gravel.

FREE 60-minute online evidence-based health education masterclass on ‘Training & The Female Menstrual Cycle’ with Dr Kiera Ward (Exercise Physiologist, Sports Scientist, and Health Researcher) and Ruth Kavanagh, MSc. ANutr.

This online masterclass will take place:

✔️ training, nutrition, recovery and wellbeing with special considerations related to the menstrual cycle.

Night at the Museum
Night Orienteering at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life at Turlough Life. This event was a great partnership between ATU Mayo Campus, the Museum, Castlebar Adventure Hub and Western Eagles Orienteering Club. Inspiring to see a mix of young and old partaking. Well done to ATU Mayo Orienteering Instructors Kevin O Callaghan and Allan McGee.
