We are in Monaghan Shopping Centre till 2pm today for race number and tee-shirt collection in advance of tomorrow's Monaghan 10 and 4 Miler!!!

On Saturday July 25th 2026 runners from everywhere had a choice
A .Take on a Park run @ 9.30am
B. Run a mid-day marathon
C. Run a nightime Marathon
This was no dilemma for one of our Carrick Aces most out standing female athletes ; Charlotte Mc Eneaney
because she chose the 4th option ;
D. Do all three on Saturday and be home in time to run a 10miler the next day .

Charlotte impressively ran the 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒓𝒖𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒔𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒏 July 25th at 9.30am with her racing buddy and athletic son Oran, to then arrive @ 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕 for a same day 12noon Marathon, plus lining up that same night in the same venue completing a second Marathon!
Ground Breaking Athletics ? Yes ! Traditional ? No !
And further more it's Mould Breaking to be at the start line at 10am the following day Sunday 26th and run her local Blayney Rocket's scenic "Around the lake 10miler" !
Charlotte you are an Ace's club legend, an inspiration, and proof that passion and dedication can take you to incredible places - not just geographically but to stronger, more fearless, resilient places within one's self.
You have proven this to us again and again and following that high bar performance, we are further more inspired by your successive weekend achievements in running 2 more Marathons @ 𝑳𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒖𝒕 𝑾𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉

Huge congratulations to club member Tara Laverty who won Carrick Aces first ever medal at the National Senior Track & Field Championships at Morton Stadium on Sunday. Just a week after her record breaking top 4 performance for Ireland at the European Athletics U18 Championships, Tara threw a brilliant 48.16m to win Silver in the Senior Women’s Discus. This is a phenomenonal achievement for 16 year-old Tara in her first time competing with elite women!👏

Well done to Carrick Aces Carragh Brennan & Tadhg Hanratty Farrell who proudly represented our club in a special on-track tribute to Ciara Mageean during the National Senior Track & Field Championships at Morton Stadium today.
The athletics community came together to celebrate one of Ireland’s greatest-ever athletes and her outstanding contribution to the sport. Carragh & Tadhg are two fantastic ambassadors of our club and we were delighted to see them running with Ciara, European champion and inspirational role model for all young athletes!🙌❤️
