Congratulations to Mcveigh’s on what was a very good win against Lisdoonan who put up a magnificent fight but just fell short in the final doubles frame decider 👏👏👏

although Mcveighs came out on top the man of the match performance had to go to Dylan McConnell who played out of his skin and gave his team every chance of becoming champions , for a young man who hasn’t got much competition experience he defied the odds in winning his first frame and just fell short of luck in his second…

Mcveigh’s have to be commended on their resilisnce & consistency in all competitions, one of the toughest teams to beat in Monaghan snooker 👌

Finally a huge congratulations to Carrickmacross snooker club on yet again

MCVEIGH TILES & LISDOONAN BATTLE IT OUT FOR CUP HONOURS!

Carrickmacross snooker club are delighted to be hosting this prestigious final tonight.

We wish both teams the best of luck and hopefully both sides play to thier potential.

Final will start at 7.30pm sharp so I would ask anyone attending to be there on time to show your support.

We will be offering light refreshments to all in attendance.

The Carrickmacross snooker club would like to extend its condolences to Joe Jeffrey and the extended Jeffrey family on the passing of Bernard RIP.

Bernard was a former member of the club and had a big personality that warmed him to many people.

When three legends and a wannabe Len Ganley met at what can only be described as one of the best nights entertainment I’ve had in many years … only fitting that Dennis and Ken had the opportunity to have their pictures taken with one of our club’s most respected and fondly remembered founders Hugo McNally “Hughie Mac”.

Special mention to our club photographer and my own brother in law Patrick Cunningham for the lovey image that will take pride of place in our club ….. magical & emotional memories ❤️⚪️🟡🟢🟤🔵🟣⚫️
