With the last round of the Mondello Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship over and done, the Club would like to give a big shout out to our Club members who not only took part in the different classes, but ended up on the Podium over the Season. Congratulations to Mike Pender, Classic Superbike Champion 2026, Pre-Injection 600, Ritchie Hyland, with Vincent Long taking a fantastic third spot in the Championship, with Shane Harding taking 6th Place in the Championship overall, Supersport seen Oisin Maher come agonising close to taking the Championship, but finishing second behind Adam Carey, and there is no doubts that Oisin will be at the top step championship wise next season. In the Moto 400, Chris Gray finished in 10th Spot, considering that Chris has been focused on the roads this season is a great achievement. With the Classic Superbike Championship in the bag, Mick took out the imacculate R1 in the Superbike Class and gave a great account of himself dicing with the lads while the Ducati had some well deserved time off, and Vincent Long had to change machinery for this round, with his trusty R6 in for repairs, kept competive all weekend to take the third place in the Championship. To everyone else, congratulations on your racing this season, everyone at the Club are so proud of you all, so onwards and upwards for 2027.
Vinnie Long, Mick Pender, Oisin Maher, Shane Harding, Austin McNally, Kody Purcell, Ben Mullane, Ritchie Hyland, Chris Gray, Aidan Dooley, Daniel Murray, and Ian Pender.
