Italia Euro Cup Results 🇮🇹🇮🇪

Qualifying: P13
It was the 1st time driving in dry weather there so unfortunately I had to try learn the line and braking points during qualifying, which is never ideal.

Saturday:
Heat 1: P13 - P12 🔼 1
Crossed the line within 2 seconds of 1st place, showing how tight the line was from P1 to P16!
Heat 2: P13 - P12 🔼 1
Pace is in line with front of grid
Heat 3: P13 - P16 🔽 3
After contact on the 2nd last lap, my fight higher up the grid came to an abrupt end, crossing 16th.

Sunday:
Superheat: P14 - P10 🔼 4
Had great pace to finish in a stronger position, but after being forced out wide over the kerbs, I crossed the line 10th
Final: P14 - P7 🔼 7
Avoiding drama and making clean overtakes, I gained 7 positions to cross 7th, the most positions Gained in the final.

With such a strong line up of drivers battling at mirrored pace, unfortunately qualifying really defined how the weekend was mapped out. It was a weekend of amazing experience and fun nonetheless.
Well done to all the irish drivers, particularly Jack Harney, Pierre Carnet and Senan McLoughlin on their podiums. It was great to see so many Irish flags flying proudly 🇮🇪
A huge thanks to Colm O Keeffe and Paddy from Odhran Henry Racing - OHR for keeping us on track and on pace.

Back on the flight home now and ready to battle in the next round of T4 in Kiltorcan this weekend 😎

The Irish packed the weather with them 🌧

Productive day getting to feel the track and increasing pace with every outing. We're pushing through and will be ready to battle tomorrow 💪

Day 2... what can I say.... rollercoaster!

Final: P4 - P5
The skies opened and poured as we went out to the final and around 90% of us had committed to slicks unfortunately. After losing lots of positions on turn 1, the battle was on to climb up the grid while keeping the kart moving in the right direction. Crossed the line 8th, and finished 5th after penalties were applied.

O Plate final: P4 - P10
Battling 4th and within fighting pace and distance of the lead pack, my engine lost all power dropping me back to last at a max speed of 46kmph. After 2 laps of persevering, the engine came alive again and I battled back to finish P10.

None of the results we hoped for and worked for all weekend, but we will be ready for the next battle 💪

Next stop... Italy for the Euro Series T4 Series Ireland

Day 1/2 of the Motorsport Ireland O Plate, hosted by Carrick-on-Suir Motor Club is done and dusted🏁

With engine power issues becoming my biggest obstacle today, I'm happy to be starting the final 4th amongst strong competitive drivers 🏎

Roll on tomorrow, where we are scheduled to not only complete the Motorsport Ireland T4 Series Ireland final, but also a seperate O Plate final 💪

Delighted to see Faugheen RRclub host a sprint weekend this July! The village has been sitting dormant waiting for this fantastic event to kick off again, and we all are counting down now 👏

Faugheen50 Club Statement.. After a very positive AGM the Club has voted to run a two day Motorcycle Road Racing Sprint in Faugheen on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of July 2026. After discussing numerous options available, the club have voted that for us as a Club, with all due considerations, we will run a Motorcycle Sprint over the two days. We will be have more details shortly, with news and updates.
