“Community Sports Development Project”
Leitrim Sports Partnership is seeking tenders for qualified service providers to coordinate, plan and deliver planned LSP sport projects and physical activity opportunities for the people of Leitrim and to support the delivery of the ongoing work programme of Leitrim Sports Partnership. This project will be delivered in the period from July to December 2016. This project was approved by Government with support from the Dormant accounts fund and Sport Ireland and managed by Leitrim Sports Partnership on behalf of Leitrim County Council.

If you are interested in applying for this contract, please send a cover letter, completed tender and submit 3 copies of your proposal, to be returned by post not later than 4.00pm on Friday 22nd July 2016 to Community Sports Development Projects 2016, Leitrim Sports Partnership, Aras and Chontae, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.

Fantastic day at the North Leitrim heats of the Schools Indoor Athletics Competition in which all schools are invited to partake in and nearly all send 2 to 4 teams to take part in the day's activities. Two heats in south Leitrim coming up in the next few weeks and will be held in Ballinamore sports complex.

Well done to all the kids who took part and enjoyed the various events.

Athletics Ireland is the National Governing Body for Athletics in Ireland. Our primary objective is to promote and develop the sport at every level from recreational running and schools competitions through to supporting Ireland's elite athletes in international competition.

The Operation Transformation Walks in Leitrim last weekend were extremely successful despite the bad weather on the Saturday morning with over 669 people and families participating on the annual O.T. walks. Leitrim Sports Partnership would like to thank the following sports clubs and groups for organising the walks around the County, Ballinamore Athletics Club, Melvin Gaels GAA club, Dromahair Arts and Recreational and the North West Simon Community and all volunteers and participants that supported and attended the walks over the weekend.
In total we had five O.T. walks around the County, Ballinamore, Carrick on Shannon, Dromahair, Kinlough and Manorhamilton with over 669 participating on the walks and over 300 people in Dromahair alone.

Another great turnout at Operation Transformation walk in Kinlough today.
