This was Aoibhinns first national competition along side Sheila and Keelin.

Well done to keelin who travelled with the IkkU squad last weekend and won her first two fights to earn a Bronze medal at the Central England Karate Championship. The squad took home a number of gold silver and bronze medals

Think those pictures say it all guys good result for Bohermeen Carnaross and Duleek getting suck in and playing there part on a really great Ikku karate team.
A number of individual gold bronze and silver medals won along with team gold femal cadets, team bronze female 12-13yrs and male gold in the juniors. All in all a great weekend away for the IKKU

A really well done to Keelin Sheila and Ella over the weekend fighting in the English open.
Keelin took 3rd place in the individuals while Sheila on her first trip abroad helped secure a third place medal for the Ikku girls12-13yrs team. Young Ella Byrne had a fabulous win in her fight to help secure a gold medal for the Ikku female cadets team.

A very well done to Aoibhe, Oliver and Kevin who successfully graded for their Junior Black Belts. All three performed well under a grading panel of 3 senior instructors during an intense grading. Achieving a Junior Black belt takes time and commitment and a lot of effort so well done all. A separate thanks to Leah who turned up to partner and help with techniques
