An early start this morning for our girls, Ally Goggin and Grace Doyle, who headed to Dublin to play on the Carlow Schools team in the Cumann na mBunscoil tournament in Parnell Park.

Their Carlow team beat Offaly, Dublin and Westmeath along the way to reach the A final where they played a very strong Laois team and unfortunately the result didn't go their way in the end.
The girls had a fantastic day representing their school,club and county with other girls from across the county .

A massive Thank You has to go to our local school teacher Deirdre Tomlinson for managing the team and looking after the girls today.

We were delighted to present the Girls Feile team with their medals and gear as they prepare to represent Club and County in 2 weeks time. Special thanks to Carlow Ladies Players, League and Leinster Champions, Shannon and Maeve for doing the presentation and giving the girls some advice for the weekend.
Thanks to the parents and girls for attending and Liz Nolan for hosting us in the clubhouse.

A superb result for our 2nd under 14 side in Rathcrogue this evening, just about getting the better of a hard working Tinryland team, 0 13 to 0 12. This was a stop start affair with the majority of scores coming from frees for both teams. It was very competitive all through though and we led 0 05 to 0 04 at the break. The 2nd half continued in much the same vein with both sides having chances and defending heroically at times. We held out for the win though, a super evening all round.

Our u8 and 10 girls took the short trip to Ballon in the glorious sunshine this morning for GoGames. They played Ballon, Ballinabranna and Rathvilly. Our girls continue to impress, doing themselves and their club proud. Well done to them, their coaches and the parents🔴🟢

A competitive under 14 Division 1 encounter in Bennekerry earlier, our lads digging deep to eventually get the better of a very good St Martins team, 1 12 to 2 04. We did have the edge in possession terms in the main but the visitors defended really well to stay in touch throughout. A goal from P***e O’Toole, who certainly brought his shooting boots, was the main difference at the break as we led 1 04 to 0 02. The game was probably won in the 3rd quarter and we held a 9 point lead with 10 minutes remaining. St Martins never gave up though and got through for 2 goals to make for a very interesting climax to the game. We did land the last couple of scores to deservedly take the honours, a very good win in a contest that will stand to both teams.
Well done, players and mentors, keep up the great work 🔴👏🏻🟢

Our U14s were out against Fighting C***s this evening in Pal. They came away with the win, with some great scores and unbelievable defending. They worked so hard and it was a great entertaining game. With the new rules in place, they all enjoyed it. And to the ref Wren Stynes, great job 👏
