Did you know tight hip flexors and hamstrings can lead to back problems! When your hip flexors get tight, they can pull your pelvis into an anterior tilt. That increases the arch in your lower back and puts extra stress in your lumbar spine. On the flip side, tight hamstrings can limit how your pelvis moves which also throws off your posture and can contribute to lower back strain.
