Ah, Matt ❤️

A sad, sad day for Irish Sailing - but thankful for the decades of joy he brought to the sport particularly in the last few years. A true gentleman - with such strength and optimism - the RIP notice says it perfectly.

Our deepest condolences to the Davis family, to all at Skerries SC, and to his countless friends up and down the coast - many of which in Carlingford.

Earlier in the week we asked "Which day are we goin' drinkin'?".

- We've gone for the latter. 😅

A huge congratulations to our Paddy Maguire ! And a word of thanks from all us mariners you've looked after over the years!

Dear Motorhomers!! I have a very important question...

Pints on Saturday? Sunday? Monday? Or Tuesday? 😅

We're putting together plans for the St Patrick's Day Motorhome Rally and trying to decide which night to do the finger food and big band... We will be open and will have entertainment all weekend!! But which night should we make the "main" party night.

If this sells out really quickly - we are discussing the possibility of doing a second screening later in the evening and releasing more tables for that! But we'll see.. Depends on demand - so even if you're not ready to book just yet, let us know if you'd be interested in a second later screening

Dinner and a Movie for Valentine's Day?? 🌹🌹 Check out this set up from Rabelo 😍

This is a full 'date night' event from start to finish 🥰 Arrive at Rabelo, Carlingford Marina at 7pm - grab a cocktail overlooking the Marina - and then when we have everything set up, we will call you in to our BEAUTIFUL Valentine's Day Cinema 🎥 💓 When the movie is over; we will retire back in to the Bar for even more cocktails (a sneaky check on the score 👀), and Quorum playing some live music in the background 🎼

It'll be flippin lovely 🥰🥰

As you will see in the video - this will be quite an exclusive event with only 8 tables (max 10 tables) available for booking. We're going to keep it that way too - it would ruin the whole vibe to just pack people in - so book early if you want to come.

The price is €65 per person (€130 per couple) and includes your table - movie snacks like popcorn, minstrels and pick and mix - a charcuterie board with cold cuts of meat and cheese - a hot food tasting platter with everything from tartlets and hors d'oeuvres to sliders, wings and pizza slices - a selection of deserts to pick away at - and a bottle of wine or Prosecco 🥂

You can order extra drinks to the table too by pressing the button on our "Service Please" lights - no need to get up from the table ☺️ And we'll have the place lovely and cosy with flowers, lovely big curtains to close the off any open spaces, and shawls to throw over your shoulders so you can snuggle up! 🥰 (Bring along whatever you like from home too, like if you have a nice "movie blanket" that you regularly use or whatever - feel free to take it along 😊) The seats here are very comfortable though, so no need for cushions, foot rests, those kind of things.

(Jesus 👀 What have I started. I shouldn't have said anything... If someone arrives here with a recliner... it's going over the balcony 🚮)
