Between retreats and in the evenings, I finally finished Tom. He visited us with a lovely American group for a week-long retreat and we all had some good times. He had this interesting inteligent face, tweed hat and he bought himself a woollen Irish scarf and a sweater.. 😊
I just had to paint him!

Juice Fast Day 4. I am reminded that the first week is challenging.. just to get into the routine of it, all the juicing, washing juicer parts, making sure I have something to juice.. then the children, dinners, yoga teaching, and other stuff..
and then the emotional stuff.. yesterday I was very irritable and very sensitive to sounds.. 🙈 But by the evening I got back to painting just a little as the last few days I was not able. That felt like therapy!
Today I’m feeling better and I know that all will be well..
My juice today for lunch was 1 whole pineapple, ginger, 1 lime and spinach.. delicious!

I am doing it … again. I am going on a juice fast. The plan is to do 21 days to the summer solstice. Some of you know that I did a 60 day one in 2022. I actually can’t believe it’s 4 years already!
it was a life-changing experience.

After hosting a wonderful group last weekend, myself and Rusty are enjoying much deserved rest today. Grateful for the sunshine 😍😻☀️
Ps: our next event is Jackie’s Day Retreat for the Grieving Hearts on the 1st June.. any kind of grief is welcome in this sacred space 🙏🏼💜

So… would you believe that this painting found its new home in New York! I’ve never been to New York.. but part of me is there now.. which is kind of strange and wonderful! 😁 I did notice that this particular painting connected with lots of women.. especially. I called it ‘Permission to rest’.. for a good reason. ‘Cause I’m not very good at it. And I run Yoga Retreats!! 🙈🙈🙈
And even though the painting is gone now, the essence of its calming and enquiring presence will remain with me.. 💜🙏🏼

Today is a day of rest after hosting a lovely group here from America. I had this interesting project to come up with parting gifts of something unique from this corner of the Earth and this is what I have come up with..
mini paintings on Carlingford oyster shells with depictions of the beautiful nature around Eagles Rock Retreat.. it was fun creating!
And I hope that they will always remind our guests of their stay with us..
