🏆 Congratulations to both of our Lisdrum FC 2015 teams on completing the Foyle Cup! 💚🤍
Lisdrum Colts enjoyed an exceptional tournament, winning all of their group matches without conceding a single goal—an incredible achievement that made them the only U11 team in the competition to do so. Their performances saw them finish as the highest-ranked group winners, securing a place in the next stage and guaranteeing a Top 16 finish.
The Colts continued their outstanding run with two more victories in the Top 16 group before eventually finishing 7th out of 120 teams. An incredible achievement for a fantastic group of boys. The coaches and parents couldn't be prouder of everything they accomplished.
Our Lisdrum Youth team were equally impressive in a very competitive group, recording 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, with their only loss coming in a game they largely controlled. Here they continued to showcase their quality, determination and teamwork against evenly matched opposition.
The Youth team saved their best football until the end of the tournament, producing an outstanding team performance to finish 39th out of 120 teams.
To both squads, thank you for representing Lisdrum FC with such pride, passion and respect throughout the week. You have created memories that will last a lifetime and given everyone associated with the club plenty to celebrate.
