Carlow Autograss
A great day's racing for the Justice League Racing team in Carlow, with plenty of pace, podiums and championship points.

🏁 Black Panther (CW76) Class 1 Yaris, A solid day's work with 3rd, 2nd, DNS (race restart) and 3rd. A spin brought out a red flag and, under the rules, he couldn't take part in the restart. One of those racing moments, but still good points on the board.

🏁 Deathstroke (WW259) Class 1 Micra Four races. Four wins.
The hard work and practice, both on and off the track, are really paying off. From Turn 1 he was in control, building a gap before settling into a smooth, consistent rhythm. Calm, confident and seriously impressive driving all day to take a perfect 4 from 4.
🏁 Class 4 Another excellent performance with 3rd, 1st, 2nd and 2nd, getting quicker and more confident with every race.

🏁 The Joker (WW251) Class 4 A consistent day with 2nd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd, adding another healthy haul of championship points.

🏁 Red Arrow (WW250) Ladies Class 1 2nd, Black Flag, 2nd and 2nd.
The only thing quicker than the car was the reaction to the start flag 😄 Apart from one enthusiastic jump start, it was another brilliant day's racing.

🏁 Bumblebee (WW570) Ladies Class 1 Another steady performance with 3rd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd, the battle with red arrow continues.

🏁 Cora Juniors After a first-race stoppage following light contact, Cora was straight back out and finished 3rd, 3rd and 4th. Every lap is more experience, and she kept smiling.

🏆 Champ of Champions
Deathstroke finished 5th
Bumblebee finished 7th.

After marshalling all day, Wolverine still had enough left in the tank to take 3rd in the Mechanics' Race.
Another fantastic day for the team. Roll on the next meeting! 🏁

King and Queen weekend at Down Autograss had a bit of everything...

The Micra was absolutely faultless from the moment it rolled off the trailer and never put a foot wrong all weekend. Batman WW590. Every outing was another chance to get more laps in, build confidence in the car and enjoy great racing. While he was the sole Class 4 entrant that weekend, he still delivered exactly what was needed four heat wins on Saturday, three on Sunday, and victory in the final."Sunday brought some brilliant battling especially with the Stock Hatch. The King of Down race was a fantastic way to finish the weekend. Seeing the buggies come charging through from behind certainly is always enjoyable, and sharing the track with them is always something special.
But if we're being honest once the racing finished saturday evening that's when the real fun began.
The words of "that concludes todays racing let the water fight commence."
For the next couple of hours, the entire pits became a battlefield. Kids, adults, drivers, mechanics... nobody was safe. Water guns, water balloons, sneak attacks from behind trailers, drive by soakings you couldn't stand still for more than a few seconds without getting absolutely drenched! 🤣
Then, just when we thought we'd had enough, everyone headed for the slip and slide, which turned into another hour of laughs.
By the end of the day we were soaked, exhausted and still laughing.
Weekends like this are exactly what make Autograss what it is. Yes, we all turn up to race and love it, but it's the people, the friendships, the laughs and moments like these that make the sport what it is.
A massive thank you to everyone at Down Autograss for putting on another brilliant meeting. Roll on the next one! 🏁

☀️ All-Ireland Series Round 2 – Cork Autograss ☀️

What a weekend! Nine Justice League Racing drivers took on the Cork heat, with close racing, a few black flags, one spectacular rollover, and a couple of engines waving the white flag.

🏁 WW570 Bumblebee (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 4th, 4th, 4th. Sunday: 3rd before picking up a black flag in the B Final for a jump start. At least he was quick... just a little too quick!

🏁 WW470 Deadpool (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 6th, 6th, 6th. Sunday: 5th and 2nd in the B Final. The engine spent the weekend trying to impersonate a kettle, but it battled on to the finish. New engine time!

🏁 WW112 The Flying Dutchman (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 5th, 6th, 4th. Sunday: 3rd and 3rd in the B Final. The engine survived the racing but had quietly burnt through all its oil. Mechanics need to check dipsticks too, Dave! 😂

🏁 WW259 Deathstroke (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 2nd, 1st, 2nd. Sunday: 2nd before lining up as the only Micra in the A Final against a grid full of Yarises. After some hard recieving and a bit of contact, he brought it home 7th. Another brilliant performance.

🏁 WW251 – The Joker (Class 4)
Saturday 5th, 3rd, 4th. Sunday: 4th and 4th in the Final. Consistent all weekend and, unlike a few others, finished every race!

🏁 WW590 Batman (Class 4)
Saturday 4th, 2nd, 3rd. Sunday 3rd before securing another podium with 3rd in the Final after some excellent racing.

🏁 CW76 Wolverine (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 4th, 2nd, 2nd. Sunday: 2nd before finishing 6th in the Final after another strong weekend. Currently running 3rd in mens class 1.

👩 Ladies Class 1
🏁 WW570 – Bumblebee
Saturday 4th, Black Flag, 3rd. Sunday 3rd and 3rd in the Final. The black flag came after a multi-car incident where she was judged to have caused the race stoppage. Sometimes racing decisions just don't go your way!

🏁 WW250 Red Arrow
The moment of the weekend! A spectacular rollover in the opening race, climbed out laughing, borrowed Deadpool's overheating car, and got straight back out racing. Saturday: 7th, 7th, 7th. Sunday: 7th before a DNF in the Final as the tired engine finally cried enough. Fair play for sticking with it and getting the laps in.And for all those who asked Red Arrow is fully recovered thank you.

A huge thanks to everyone who helped, supported, marshalled and cheered us on all weekend. It was roasting from start to finish, but the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone gave it everything.
Bring on the next round! 💪🏁

When we took a moment to stand back and look across the track, it didn’t feel like our usual WestWaterford home turf. It felt bigger, sharper, more intense like we’d rolled into something new entirely, with a real edge to it.

British Autograss Series Round 1, delivered from start to finish. Great social weekend with old friends and new faces, proper competitive racing, and plenty learned for the next one.

Two Yaris's on the srart line, it had that slightly wildcard feel from the start. Different clubs, different backgrounds, same outcome though everyone went out, raced hard, and left it all on track.

CW75 “Wolverine” put in a solid showing all weekend with 3rd in Heat 1, 5th in Heat 2, and 6th in Heat 3.

CW76 “Black Panther” kept it consistent with 4th in Heat 1, 6th in Heat 2, and 4th in Heat 3, and in true style, after crossing the line in his first race of the weekend, decided to finish with a completely unnecessary but very commired 360° and headed in.

Big thanks as well to the team members who couldn’t race this weekend but were behind the scenes doing there bit to help.
Next Justice League Racing team battle is already shaping up to be one to watch.

🔥 WEST WATERFORD RACING TEAM TAKES ON CARLOW! 🔥
What a day of racing in Carlow on Sunday, with eight West Waterford drivers flying the flag across four classes and putting on a show from the first green flag to the final chequered flag.

🏁 MEN'S CLASS 1
The mighty Micras were out in force as Deathstroke (WW259), Deadpool (WW470), The Flying Dutchman (WW112) and Bumblebee (WW570) battled it out.
While trophies and championships are always the goal, there's something special about racing your own teammates for bragging rights!
Deathstroke WW259 1st, 1st, 1st
The Flying Dutchman WW112 3rd, 3rd, 3rd
Deadpool WW470 4th, 3rd, 3rd Bumblebee WW570 5th, 4th, 4th
Deathstroke was simply unstoppable, launching into the lead and refusing to give it up. The Flying Dutchman briefly showed his nose in front in one heat, but Deathstroke fired straight back down the inside to reclaim the position and never looked back.
Deadpool drove like a man possessed all day, throwing everything at the car and leaving absolutely nothing behind on track.

LADIES CLASS 1
The battle of the day belonged to teammates Red Arrow WW250 and Bumblebee WW570.
These two put on an absolute masterclass of close racing. Lap after lap they traded positions, running side by side through corners, swapping the lead, crossing over and fighting wheel to wheel. Every heat had spectators glued to the action as neither driver was willing to give an inch.
When the dust settled it was:
Red Arrow WW250 1st, 1st, 1st Bumblebee WW570 2nd, 2nd, 2nd
The results don't tell the full story. This was one of the closest and most exciting battles we've seen all season, with either driver capable of taking victory at any moment.

CLASS 4
Joker took the Micra out against larger and more powerful machinery as Classes 3 and 4 were combined on track.
With faster cars ahead, Joker had targets to chase and pushed hard. Confidence grew with every lap and by the third heat he was reeling them in and showing exactly what the little Micra could do.
Joker 1st, 1st, 1st
A brilliant drive and another hat trick of wins for the team.
JUNIORS
Cora Kearney WW250 continued to impress in the Junior ranks.
🥉 3rd 🥉 3rd 🥈 2nd
She was 5th in the final after showing strong pace all day, but once again proved she belongs right at the sharp end of the field.
⭐ THREE HAT-TRICKS FOR WEST WATERFORD! ⭐
Deathstroke – 1st, 1st, 1st
Red Arrow – 1st, 1st, 1st
Joker – 1st, 1st, 1st
Three drivers. Three perfect scorecards. Nine race wins.
Not a bad day's work! 💪
A huge thank you to everyone at Carlow for a fantastic event. The weather was perfect, the racing was brilliant, and we received a very warm welcome throughout the day. The atmosphere around the paddock was superb and it was great catching up with competitors, officials and supporters alike.
The season rolls on and we're not done yet...
Next weekend sees our newest team member racing debut in the BAS round 1 at West Waterford Autograss.

24/05/2026

Round 4 of the National Qualifiers in Cork Autograss. And with the sun shining all day it made for some tough conditions with the heat for drivers in there cars. The track kept everone on there toes from the first heat to the last. With the extreme dry conditions and dust visibility becoming dificult at times.

Good time between races as some cars were being double driven and time between races helped for cooling down and getting filters cleaned out also. To have the cars ready to go again.

Despite the hot conditions all of our seven drivers pushed on and enjoyed the day.

WW470 “Deadpool” 7th, 5th, 7th Battled hard all day with engine running issues and kept pushing every race. Issue unresolved. Still a crowd pleaser.

WW112 “The Flying Dutchman” 4th, 3rd, 3rd Consistent pace throughout the day and involved in some of the closest racing of the meeting. A member always ready for some team rivalary racing. Is there any other team member this man dosent want to finish ahead of.

WW570 “Bumblebee” Men’s Class 1, 6th, 4th, 4th Strong improvement across the heats with some great wheel to wheel action. Somehow the borrowed ladies carhe is driving seems to be collecting dents. When out on loan for mens. Of course no fault of his.

WW251 “The Joker”Class 4, 3rd, 3rd, and 2nd Another solid outing with good consistancy and relability learning the track. The car giving a gentle reminder of who should be in charge in the drivers seat in race 1. Race 2 and back to business.

WW259 “Deathstroke” 3rd, 3rd, and 1st, A hard fought day in the mighty micra with close racing and a few knocks from behind along the way, but finished the meeting in style by taking the win in the final heat. The final Men’s Class 1 heat gave us an all Justice League battle, with Bumblebee, Deadpool, The Flying Dutchman and Deathstroke all lining up together.
With plenty of close racing between the team cars, Deathstroke edged it nicely on the day and can claim temporary bragging rights until the next meeting.

The ladies put on a great show across all three heats.
Heat 1: Red Arrow P3, Bumblebee P7.
Heat 2: Red Arrow P6, Bumblebee P4 as they both settled into it.
Heat 3: a proper close battle all the way through, with Red Arrow making the move in the closing stages to take P3, just ahead of Bumblebee in P4.
Plenty of respect between the pair and some great racing all day.
