JUSTICE LEAGUE RACING
CARLOW SOCIAL AWARDS NIGHT

What a night for the Justice League at the Carlow Autograss Social Awards.

LADIES CLASS 1
WW250 Red Arrow 1st place
WW570 Bumblebee 2nd place
These two were bumper to bumper all season, One ahead in one race, the other fighting back in the next. Too close to call at times, with different racing lines and tyre choice making all the difference. A fierce battle ensued on track and one next year to watch out for at any track they attend together.

MEN'S CLASS 1
WW259 Deathstroke Second place overall in one of the biggest and most competitive classes on the track filled with Yaris's and Micras, this is no easy class to win in. But he is getting quite used to it. Deathstroke also takes home the bragging rights as the top scoring Micra in Carlow despite missing a full day's racing.

MEN'S CLASS 4
WW251 Joker 1st
WW259 Deathstroke 2nd
Class 4 is all about reliability, consistency and getting those points on the board. And the Joker did just that all year taking home top honours in his first year in class 4. Great to see the results coming in, but we want to see even more Class 4 cars back on track next season. Keep the cars going, keep the racing going, and keep showing what Class 4 is all about.
And fair play to Deathstroke, pulling double duty in Classes 1 and 4 on the weekends hopping from one car to the next while the other is sitting in the holding lane. You just cant beat as much seat time as you can get. And its another one two for the Justice League Racing

AND THEN CAME THE SOCIAL.
Let's just say the racing wasn't the only thing that went all out. A brilliant night full of laughs, dancing, singing, live music and a serious amount of fun. Trophies and a few beverages.
The atmosphere was absolutely savage, everyone getting along, and the craic going well into the early hours. There may have been a few questionable decisions and a few sore heads the following morning Andy Coughlan 🤣
A massive congratulations to everyone who picked up an award, and a big thank you to everyone who made the night what it was.
We'll be back next year same League, same craic, and creating a few more memories because that's a win in life.

What a day of racing at Cork Autograss on Saturday.
Daytime races, and nighttime racing under the lights, seven cars and eight superheroes racing across four heats on Saturday before Sunday's predicted rain had us sent home in the morning

Here is how the squad went.

​Deadpool WW470 Men's Class 1 had a consistently good weekend, showing just how much his driving has improved this year to keep his place in the lead pack. With zero mechanical issues on or off the track , he drove flawlessly with fantastic results 3rd, 4th, 3rd, and 3rd. Deadpool was on fire.

​Bumblebee WW570 Men,'s Class 1 was out for only his second day of racing this year. After opening with a 7th and a 5th, he picked up a black flag in race 3 for forgetting to lift off when needed. He came back to secure a 4th place finish in his final race.

WW112 The flying dutchman,
4th, 2nd, 4th, and a race he wont forget for quite a while leading from turn one all the way to the chequred flag with a mighty yaris hot on his stern. With the rest of the crew cheering him on loudly from the bank a fantastic drive, turns out he dosent just know how to sail his ship, he can make that micra fly too.

​Super Mario WW296 was absolutely flying all weekend, with a 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd, and was leading his final race in 1st place coming into the final corner. Unfortunately, the driver behind him attempted an overtake that was sure to end in contact and contact there was with Mario's car turned sideways and ended up rolling quite a bit, yes there's footage in the video attached. It's safe to say the car is worse off, but Mario is ok.

​Daredevil WW876 our newest driver taking on his very first weekend of grass racing ever, showed great promise with a 6th and a 4th. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper rookie debut without a classic black flag for keeping the foot down after an incident same as Bumblbee. A few typical first weekend errors to iron out with zero ill intent its a massive learning curve to a new racer. His final race he finished in 4th.

​Over to Ladies Class 1
​Bumblebee WW570 had an absolute fantastic weekend, pulling off a 2nd, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd. Continued consistency, and sticking to what works for her, she has improved massively over the course of the season.

​She was joined by her teammate Red Arrow WW250 who finished with a solid 4th, 2nd, 4th, and 4th. Red Arrow also provided the weekend's premier off track trip during her first race with some hard braking to avoid a wobbly yaris ahead of her this in turn sent her towards the infield and down into the dip between track and infield. Luckily she drove herself back up out of the depths and rejoin the track like a professional.

​Joker WW251 with a 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd. Getting faster and more progressive as the day went on, he sorted out a minor car gremlin and was absolutely flying by the final race. To top it all off, he bagged 2nd place in the best lit up car of the day.

​From the start of the year, our numbers have grown in strength and the fun at the track has only gotten better. When we're racing, nothing else in the world matters and it's the ultimate escape from everything else. As long as its a micra, Except for Wolverine and Black Panther, We're all glad of the winter break after so many late nights throughout the summer, engine changes, new car builds, extreme distances covered, and we enjoyed every minute of it, and we'll leave the spanners alone until later in the year. Mostly we have lots of silverware placed throughout our homes/hideouts its held in very high regards. But for now, we're braced for whatever challenge comes next with a few social night shenanigans soon.

2026 FINALE! 🏁
A slightly smaller Justice League crew made the trip to Waterford for the final meeting of the year two cars, three drivers and four of us.
It seems a few people saw the forecast the day before and decided they weren't quite ready to show up in the rain!
Still, Batman WW590 and Bumblebee WW570 made the trip and were ready for one last run around Waterford.
BATMAN CLASS 4
Class 4 was racing alongside the Stock Hatches and Class 6, which gave Batman plenty of track time, although not quite the championship battle we had hoped for.
The final points were important, and Batman would much rather have had a few more of the Class 4 lads there to make a proper fight of it and really put the championship on the line.
Still, the job had to be done.
Batman got through the heats and then came the final.
This time there was nothing left to chase, so Batman went out with one thing in mind.
Slow everything down.
Take in every second. Enjoy the car. Enjoy the track. Enjoy the last race of the season.
And that's exactly what he did.
No pressure, no championship calculations just one last few laps to take it all in before putting the Batmobile away for the year.

BUMBLEBEE LADIES CLASS 1
A good day in Bumblebee.
We'd made a few changes to the setup to try and get the car turning better around Waterford, and the changes definitely seemed to help.
Her results:
4th — 4th — 2nd
Then came the final, and unfortunately an incident on the corner saw Bumblebee receive a black flag and her final came to an early end.
Looking back over the footage, it's one of those moments where you can see how quickly things can change on a race track.
For BUMBLEBEE, it's all part of the learning curve. Every meeting she's gaining more experience, learning the track, finding different lines and getting more comfortable with the car and the improvement is there to see every time she goes out.
She's come a long way already, and there's plenty more to come from Bumblebee.

THE ARM RESTRAINT RACE
Possibly the most competitive race of the entire day happened before Batman even reached the holding lane!
Called to the holding lane…
No arm restraint.
Bumblebee had already legged it up to the Guy Wynn's van, bought a new one and passed it straight over.
Batman stayed parked beside the truck, fitted the new restraint properly, adjusted it, strapped himself in and headed for the holding lane.
Plenty of time…
Just not quite as much calm as we would have liked!
The weather thankfully held out all day. After the absolute lashing rain on the way down, there was always the worry if racing could be cancelled, but the day stayed dry enough that the track even needed a bit of watering.

A final meeting, but plenty of laughs, the cars came home, hopefully another championship is heading our way and, most importantly, the season was finished with plenty of good memories.
Massive thanks to everyone who has helped us throughout the year and for all the fun we've had at the tracks.
To everyone who raced with us, battled us, helped us, fixed us, filmed us, pushed us and put up with us thank you.
2026 that's a wrap for Batman.

Carlow Autograss
A great day's racing for the Justice League Racing team in Carlow, with plenty of pace, podiums and championship points.

🏁 Black Panther (CW76) Class 1 Yaris, A solid day's work with 3rd, 2nd, DNS (race restart) and 3rd. A spin brought out a red flag and, under the rules, he couldn't take part in the restart. One of those racing moments, but still good points on the board.

🏁 Deathstroke (WW259) Class 1 Micra Four races. Four wins.
The hard work and practice, both on and off the track, are really paying off. From Turn 1 he was in control, building a gap before settling into a smooth, consistent rhythm. Calm, confident and seriously impressive driving all day to take a perfect 4 from 4.
🏁 Class 4 Another excellent performance with 3rd, 1st, 2nd and 2nd, getting quicker and more confident with every race.

🏁 The Joker (WW251) Class 4 A consistent day with 2nd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd, adding another healthy haul of championship points.

🏁 Red Arrow (WW250) Ladies Class 1 2nd, Black Flag, 2nd and 2nd.
The only thing quicker than the car was the reaction to the start flag 😄 Apart from one enthusiastic jump start, it was another brilliant day's racing.

🏁 Bumblebee (WW570) Ladies Class 1 Another steady performance with 3rd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd, the battle with red arrow continues.

🏁 Cora Juniors After a first-race stoppage following light contact, Cora was straight back out and finished 3rd, 3rd and 4th. Every lap is more experience, and she kept smiling.

🏆 Champ of Champions
Deathstroke finished 5th
Bumblebee finished 7th.

After marshalling all day, Wolverine still had enough left in the tank to take 3rd in the Mechanics' Race.
Another fantastic day for the team. Roll on the next meeting! 🏁

King and Queen weekend at Down Autograss had a bit of everything...

The Micra was absolutely faultless from the moment it rolled off the trailer and never put a foot wrong all weekend. Batman WW590. Every outing was another chance to get more laps in, build confidence in the car and enjoy great racing. While he was the sole Class 4 entrant that weekend, he still delivered exactly what was needed four heat wins on Saturday, three on Sunday, and victory in the final."Sunday brought some brilliant battling especially with the Stock Hatch. The King of Down race was a fantastic way to finish the weekend. Seeing the buggies come charging through from behind certainly is always enjoyable, and sharing the track with them is always something special.
But if we're being honest once the racing finished saturday evening that's when the real fun began.
The words of "that concludes todays racing let the water fight commence."
For the next couple of hours, the entire pits became a battlefield. Kids, adults, drivers, mechanics... nobody was safe. Water guns, water balloons, sneak attacks from behind trailers, drive by soakings you couldn't stand still for more than a few seconds without getting absolutely drenched! 🤣
Then, just when we thought we'd had enough, everyone headed for the slip and slide, which turned into another hour of laughs.
By the end of the day we were soaked, exhausted and still laughing.
Weekends like this are exactly what make Autograss what it is. Yes, we all turn up to race and love it, but it's the people, the friendships, the laughs and moments like these that make the sport what it is.

☀️ All-Ireland Series Round 2 – Cork Autograss ☀️

What a weekend! Nine Justice League Racing drivers took on the Cork heat, with close racing, a few black flags, one spectacular rollover, and a couple of engines waving the white flag.

🏁 WW570 Bumblebee (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 4th, 4th, 4th. Sunday: 3rd before picking up a black flag in the B Final for a jump start. At least he was quick... just a little too quick!

🏁 WW470 Deadpool (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 6th, 6th, 6th. Sunday: 5th and 2nd in the B Final. The engine spent the weekend trying to impersonate a kettle, but it battled on to the finish. New engine time!

🏁 WW112 The Flying Dutchman (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 5th, 6th, 4th. Sunday: 3rd and 3rd in the B Final. The engine survived the racing but had quietly burnt through all its oil. Mechanics need to check dipsticks too, Dave! 😂

🏁 WW259 Deathstroke (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 2nd, 1st, 2nd. Sunday: 2nd before lining up as the only Micra in the A Final against a grid full of Yarises. After some hard recieving and a bit of contact, he brought it home 7th. Another brilliant performance.

🏁 WW251 – The Joker (Class 4)
Saturday 5th, 3rd, 4th. Sunday: 4th and 4th in the Final. Consistent all weekend and, unlike a few others, finished every race!

🏁 WW590 Batman (Class 4)
Saturday 4th, 2nd, 3rd. Sunday 3rd before securing another podium with 3rd in the Final after some excellent racing.

🏁 CW76 Wolverine (Men's Class 1)
Saturday 4th, 2nd, 2nd. Sunday: 2nd before finishing 6th in the Final after another strong weekend. Currently running 3rd in mens class 1.

👩 Ladies Class 1
🏁 WW570 – Bumblebee
Saturday 4th, Black Flag, 3rd. Sunday 3rd and 3rd in the Final. The black flag came after a multi-car incident where she was judged to have caused the race stoppage. Sometimes racing decisions just don't go your way!

🏁 WW250 Red Arrow
The moment of the weekend! A spectacular rollover in the opening race, climbed out laughing, borrowed Deadpool's overheating car, and got straight back out racing. Saturday: 7th, 7th, 7th. Sunday: 7th before a DNF in the Final as the tired engine finally cried enough. Fair play for sticking with it and getting the laps in.And for all those who asked Red Arrow is fully recovered thank you.

A huge thanks to everyone who helped, supported, marshalled and cheered us on all weekend. It was roasting from start to finish, but the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone gave it everything.
