Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital, 14th June 2026.

Predeceased by her parents Jimmy & Kitty Granaghan, husband Sean, her brother Vincent and sisters Marie, Noeleen, Angela, Pauline and Helen, niece Kerry and nephews Patrick and Declan.

Forever loved and sadly missed by her loving family her sons Brian (Deirdre), Barry and Neil (Avril), her daughter Amanda, her beloved grandchildren Mark, Aisling, Ciaràn, Tara, Codai and Rebecca, her great-granddaughter Erin, her brothers Seamie, Roy and Ben, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren and all her relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Joan will repose at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Tuesday 16th June from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal from Breslin’s Funeral Home on Wednesday morning 17th June at 10.30am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, removal afterwards to St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran for Burial Service.

After a long illness bravely borne in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. James Hospital, Dublin on 12th March 2026.
