**2 spaces available for next weeks course**

Week 1:
Monday July 29th- Friday August 2nd

Sessions will be from 10am - 1pm each day. (May vary slightly depending on weather and tide each week)

As there will be no changing facilities sailors are asked to come changed and ready.
Toilet facilities are available.
We have a limited supply of wetsuits that can be borrowed and used for the duration of the course if required.
Buoyancy aids and helmets will be supplied.
It is open to all ages 9+ and you must be able to swim.
The cost of the course is €120 per person per week.
Further updates will be posted closer to the time.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We are delighted to announce a PUBLIC MEETING in the Lake of Shadows Hotel on Monday 21st August at 8pm. Our aim is to set up a Community First Responder Group in Buncrana.

The purpose of this group is to train volunteers to attend certain types of emergency calls in Buncrana and surrounding areas. Their aim is to reach a potential life threatening emergency in the first vital minutes before the ambulance crew arrives and provide the appropriate care including CPR & defibrillation, until the more highly skilled ambulance crew arrives on scene to take over the treatment.

No previous experience needs, full training provided and all welcome. We would greatly appreciate if you would like the group, share this post and spread the word. Looking forward to meeting you all there on the night.

Our Summer Sailing Programme continues on Monday at Buncrana Pier at 10 AM.

A few points to note:

•A registration form must be completed and signed by parent/guardian.
•Sailors must be changed into their wetsuits with sunscreen applied prior to arriving.
•Wetsuit boots/Old shoes and a light wind proof jacket should also be brought.
