And just like that… we’re back! 🙌

The 2026/27 season gets underway this weekend for a number of our Bunclody AFC teams, with plenty of football to look forward to across Saturday and Sunday.

📅 Saturday 5th September

🏠 U12B v Enniscorthy United — 11:00am
🏠 Youths v Kilmore United — 11:00am
🚗 U14B v Corach Ramblers — 12:30pm
🚗 U12C v Courtown Hibs — 1:00pm
🚗 U12A v St Josephs — 2:30pm

📅 Sunday 6th September

🏠 Men’s B v Taghmon United — 11:00am

A new season, a fresh start and plenty of football ahead! We’d love to see plenty of support down at Church Road for our home sides, and safe travels to all our teams on the road.

⚽ BUNCLODY AFC ACADEMY IS BACK! ⚽

Our Academy returns on Friday, 18th September at 6:00 p.m.

The Academy is open to boys and girls aged four to seven, born between 2019 and 2022. New players are always welcome—no previous football experience is needed!

We are also looking for new coaches and helpers to get involved. If you can spare some time and would like to help the next generation of Bunclody AFC players, we would love to hear from you.

Everyone at Bunclody AFC would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Finn family on the sad passing of Tom Finn.

Tom was a great friend and supporter of our club for many years. He volunteered in various roles and was always willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed. Many will also fondly remember Tom and his wife stepping in as Mr and Mrs Claus at our Santa Grottos a number of years ago, helping to create wonderful memories for so many children.

Tom continually supported the club, including faithfully buying tickets from his brother-in-law Tony over the years. Tom, his children and his grandchildren have all represented Bunclody, while the entire Finn family have been tremendous supporters of our club throughout the years.

On behalf of our committee, members, players and everyone associated with Bunclody AFC, our thoughts and prayers are with Tom’s wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends at this very difficult time.

May Tom rest in peace.

Everyone at Bunclody AFC would like to wish our close neighbours, fernsunited123 Women’s Team, the very best of luck in the FAI Women’s Shield Final this Sunday as they take on Wilton United.

Ferns are undoubtedly one of the best women’s sides in Wexford, and reaching a national final is a fantastic achievement for the players, management and everyone involved with the club.

From all of us at Bunclody AFC—and, we’re sure, the entire Wexford football community—best of luck on Sunday. Bring it home! 🏆⚽

⚠️ BINGO CANCELLED TONIGHT – WEATHER WARNING ⚠️

Hi all,

Unfortunately, due to a Yellow Weather Warning issued for today, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Drive-In Bingo.

Under the terms of our insurance, we are not covered to operate while a weather warning is in place, so unfortunately this decision is completely out of our hands.

The good news is you won’t have to wait too long! 👀

Well done to Jamie Plunkett & Jack Murphy who lined out for Wexford Schoolboys U13 development today in the Sonny Rich tournament in St Joseph's Sallynoggin. The boys made it to the semifinal and were unlucky to lose 1 nil to a good Cliftonville FC team. Well done boys 👏
