August Bank Holiday:
Captain's Prize Weekend GFC ⛳️

What a weekend, what an atmosphere 👏

198 players competed to win the Captain's Prize.
18 hole Stroke competition followed by a 9 hole playoff on Sunday evening, it was nail biting Stuff.

The course was in superb condition thanks to Mark Byrne Couse Superintendent and his team, the Clubhouse was alive from start to finish with an electric atmosphere all weekend.

Huge thank you to the bar and catering staff, the volunteers, sponsors and organisers who worked hard behind the scenes to make it such a memorable weekend.

We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did 😁. Well done to all players and congratulations to Darragh Twomey who claimed the title of:
Captain's Prize Winner 2026 🏆 👏
